This is a tribute to the Birth of the Cool Band led by Miles Davis, Gil Evans, and Gerry Mulligan between the years 1949-1950. This recording is our re-creation of the album "The Birth of the Cool" in it's entirety with a couple extra tracks written specifically for the unusual instrumentation of the jazz nonet.
